Sweet housewives wants love

I appreciate your thoughts and feedback. Some of you said things I knew but did not want to hear. I always think I can fix everything. I think I'm helping but I just made things worse. One day I happened to notice the way they looked at each other. Remunds me of how my husband looks at me. I asked and she denied. Ultimately, she confessed. It was a relief for her. Adding to this, we are all friends/aquaintances. (Not super close except her and I) She is a great friend. I should've been honest by telling her to make a decision. They are being selfish hurting too people. She is wrong. By listening and giving her someone to talk to, I have encouraged her in this situation. (which Is out of character for both of them) Thank you for putting me in my place and making me face the fact that I have been wrong. Having never been in a situation where I knew someone who was having an affair, I had no idea what to do. I thought I was a good friend if I was not judgemental. I rationalized that they were good people so I would just keep my opinions to myself and figured they must have a good reason for doing this. They seem so in but what do I know Neither has left their respective spouse's. Not making a decision about their future is kind of like making a decision. If it were true, they would have moved heaven and earth by now to be together. These are things I am going to tell her. I Know I would not like it if this were my own husband carrying on with another woman. I have been very disrespectful to both of their marriages. Seems I have not been a good friend, afterall. I am honestly ashamed of my behavior. I got caught up in the fact that they are both nice people. I could the flaws in their respective marriages as they are both married to very selfish people. I never saw them as selfish. Given the fact that they are having a secret affair, they are just as selfish as their spouse's. I need to remove myself from this situation. Hopefully, they get counseling and do the right thing. Both have been married for well over 20 years each. It would sad to them throw that away. Thank you again for the candid feedback.
